Steam mod downloads slow

I download from 2 connections. Coldhands View Profile View Posts. I hate that this is coming out of my mouth but Origin and Ubisoft have developed a better gaming platform now. Andros View Profile View Posts. I would disagree with the people stating "Steam is so slow It was ridiculous.

What I have found though is that if you were to ONLY download the installer files form Steam, it actually downloads incredibly fast Before I begin, we are not friends and I am not here for your tech support, to be your personal library, or to do your research for you. Leaper View Profile View Posts. Additionally, it also allows a lot of flexibility for the future when considering multiple release platforms. Certainly bizarre to have a Steam platform available, one that handles million gamers according to the stats page, and then decide not to use it. A platform instead that is probably run out of someone's basement is chosen. The modding space is already struggling with new games not supporting the practice, viewing it as competition for in game content stores. That's one way to make mods dead on arrival I guess, but at least the box got checked.
